The user can locate hotspots for a particular species (fresh or saltwater) anywhere in the United States, while also evaluating real-time weather reports from the NOAA, tide predictions, buoy data, ocean surface temperatures, and other information that ensures the success of the ambitious fisherman. Users may also browse fishing regulations and other useful articles, find out about local tournaments, locate marinas, and bait shops and interact with other fishing enthusiasts via a live forum. Photo galleries allow fisherman their own albums to post and share pictures of their experiences and potentially win the monthly prize for the most impressive catch. UNIQ design created this fisherman’s oasis starting from a simple idea through to reality. Starting with an inviting, user-friendly interface design, UNIQ design integrated real-time national weather center data and the latest in java servlet mapping technology in order to create a spirited portal that enables the recreational or competitive fisherman to unleash his or her potential. |
